Wesley C. Vestal is a Senior KM Consultant for the KM practice area at the American Productivity & Quality Center. In his role over the last five years, Wesley has worked extensively in designing and implementing Knowledge Management strategies, solutions, training courses, and systems for organizations such as Exxon-Mobil Chemical, Best Buy, Schlumberger, Army Medical Division, the American Red Cross, and the American Cancer Society. Wesley speaks at Knowledge Management conferences across the US, South America, and Europe, and is an APQC-certified trainer on Knowledge Management and benchmarking skills. Currently, he is serving as Subject Matter Expert for APQC's Replicating the Gains from Six Sigma and Lean consortium benchmarking study. He recently published an article titled "Ten Traits of Successful Communities of Practice" in the Jan-Feb 2003 edition of the KM Journal and has written several articles on KM in APQCs "CenterView".
