John S. Storck is an assistant professor of Management Information Systems, teaching in the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Boston University's School of Management. Dr. Storck is currently involved in a broadly based research program dealing with knowledge economy issues. His research activities focus on the nature of individual and group work in globally dispersed organizations, with a particular emphasis on how Communities of Practice enhance knowledge diffusion and learning. His prior work has been published in journals such as the Sloan Management Review, Human Communication Research and the IBM Systems Journal.
