Biography
Emmanuelle Vaast gained her Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, France. She is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems at the School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences at Long Island University. Her research interests concern the construction of intra-organizational boundaries with practices of IS and the transformation of the relationships between Communities of Practice and the formal organization through the appropriation of new technologies. She has presented her work at the Academy of Management Conference and has published in Information Research.
