Dr Elisabeth Davenport is Professor of Information Management in Napier University. She leads the Social Informatics research group in the School of Computing, is an Associate of the School's International Teledemocracy Centre and is also a Visiting Scholar in the School of Library and Information Science in Indiana University. She has undertaken a number of EC funded projects that have explored technology and communities. Her current research interests include organizational and social computing, management of tacit knowledge and social capital, digital genres, and ethnomethodology in the workplace.
