Bronwyn Stuckey has been a lecturer of Information and Communication Technology in the Education faculty and launched her PhD research work in On-line Communities of Practice for Professional Development. For six years before that she was and educational technologist and instructional designer, developing multimedia teaching and training solutions for a number of leading educational institutions. Her doctoral research has been to explore Communities and Networks of Practice as options for online professional development. She has for the past three years coached and facilitated in the Etienne Wenger Foundations of Community of Practice workshop and has developed a series of case studies of Communities of Practice across many domains and practices including education communities in all sectors (school, tertiary and vocational education).
