Biography

Marc Augier is the head of Learning Lab, the e-learning centre of expertise in CERAM. He is also a Professor in Management of Information Systems in CERAM Business School since 2001 and has a PhD (2005) in Information and Communication Science. His research interests are centred on the implication of the usage of IT technology in our society, therefore he is interested in Free Software, digital documents and libraries, hypertext as a knowledge representation tool. Before joining CERAM, he worked in IT and consulting companies like IBM and Accenture. He has a solid background in computer science with a masters degree from CESTI (1985).
