Lisa P. Nathan is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Information School of the University of Washington. Her doctoral dissertation research addresses ways in which social and cultural values influence information and communication technology (ICT) appropriation. She holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. Her other research interests include information behaviour, social informatics, and ethnography. She has been a teacher and a public librarian.
