Biography

Diana D. Woolis is co-founder with Susan Restler of Knowledge in the Public Interest (kpublic.com) a strategy consulting firm specializing in the development and deployment of Virtual Communities for Social Innovation (VCSI) and focused on new models of organization leadership and learning for the non-profit, public, and philanthropic sectors. Dr. Woolis has served in executive positions in government, nonprofits and education. She holds a Masters and Doctorate in Education from Columbia University, has published in both popular and academic journals and has been recognized for her work on issues of equity and access. She wrote one of the first doctoral dissertations exploring public sector learning organizations.
