Biography

Anne Hewling is presently working as an e-learning specialist in the Library and Learning Resources Centre at the UK Open University having previously worked as Project Officer for the PROWE project that was based there. She is an educationalist who began her working life teaching face-to-face but subsequently moved into open and distance and then online learning. She has a PhD in educational technology for which she investigated how culture impacts the online class. Most recently, she has taught online courses in use of new technologies and in development and global citizenship for universities in the UK, Australia and Canada.
