Vanessa Dye, University of Wolverhampton, UK
Vanessa Dye is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Wolverhampton. She worked in nurse education from 1976 to 1989. She then took up a Senior Lecturer position and currently teaches on a range of modules, which contribute to a number of teaching awards in the post compulsory sector. Her research interests centre on assessment and feedback processes. She has researched and published about the value of educational theory in practice within teacher education. Currently she is engaged with examining the values and limitations of group work as an effective method of assessment. She is a registered practitioner with the Higher Education Academy.
