Biography

Rachel Baig is a Senior Lecturer in Post Compulsory Education at the University of Wolverhampton. Rachel began her teaching career in 1995 delivering Continuing Professional Development to nurses. She taught Health, Early Childhood Studies and Basic Skills in FE, from 1997 to 2001, at the university. Rachel then worked for two years at the University of Wales' North East Wales Institute before returning to the University of Wolverhampton's PCE team in 2004. Her research interests include the 14 - 19 curriculum, policy and practice. She is currently piloting the use of technology-supported learning with a cohort of non-traditional HE, ITE students.
