Biography

Professor David Kirk is Dean of the Carnegie Faculty of Sport and Education and Professor of Physical Education and Youth Sport at Leeds Metropolitan University. He also holds honorary chairs at the University of Queensland, Australia and the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is the author of books and articles on physical education and youth sport, educational change and curriculum history.
